In April 2025, Immacule Lab experienced an anomaly, a spill of lotion made from natural coconut, into a retention pond in a business park. Subsequent heavy rainfall caused the lotion to migrate into the nearby White Oak Bayou. An internal investigation was immediately conducted in accordance with company protocol and our commitment to environmental safety. That investigation confirmed that the operations team had fully complied with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and established procedures. The natural coconut lotion was properly discharged through the sanitary sewer line, not the stormwater sewer line. However, it is believed that a sewer overflow allowed the coconut-based material to enter the stormwater system. Immacule Lab is deeply committed to protecting the environment and maintains rigorous practices to do so. The company has consistently complied with regulations from Harris County Pollution Control Services and other relevant authorities. Harris County has reviewed the process involved and the facts surrounding the event and determined that no action is needed. This matter is therefore resolved.
